Dear Parents/Carers,

 

I am excited to present to you the much-anticipated information about the after-school clubs that we have planned for this Spring Term (2026).  

 

Signing up to after-school clubs is a commitment for your child to attend every week for this period.

After-school clubs are an extension of the school day, and we expect attendees to maintain our usual high standard of behaviour.  Children who do not behave appropriately will be removed from the club roster and you will be informed accordingly.

Please ensure that attending children are collected at 4.15pm promptly. 

 

 

 

                                                                Tuesdays

 

Watercolour Painting with Ms Soumelidou and Mrs Smith (Y5 - Y6)

Tuesdays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

(Places are very limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.)

 

Tuesdays 3.30pm – 4.15pm

The only club, other than Sports Club, where you’re likely to get a stitch.  Our multi-talented Mrs Double will share her love and knowledge of crafting with materials and will run for the first half of Spring Term only.

(Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.)

 

Tuesdays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

The arrival of Spring means new beginnings and much to do in the Bumbles Garden.  Children will be planning and preparing beds, planting seeds and cultivating their Spring crop.

(A separate sign-up form will be set towards the end of the first half of Spring Term.)

 

                                                                Wednesdays

 

Dance and Drama Club with Mrs Sansbury (Y3 - Y6)

Wednesdays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

For the sake of continuity, children who were participating in Dance & Drama Club last term will be auto-enrolled for this Spring Term session as they continue to work on their extra-curricular performance.

(Dance & Drama Club is not accepting new participants in the first half of Spring Term.)

 

Puzzle Club with Mr Julian (Y3 - Y6)

Wednesdays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

Logic puzzles and games, from chess to playing cards.  This term will feature our annual Guess Who Tournament.

(Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.)

Sports Club with Mrs Double & Mrs Uff & Horsham Sports Services (Y1 - Y6)

Thursdays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

The ever-popular Sports Club retains its regular Thursday fixture.  

Participating children will have fun and exercise whilst honing their sporting skills.

Please note that Sports Club will not be available for YR to join until the Summer Term.

 

                                                                Fridays

 

Construction Club with Mrs Clarke (Y1 - Y4) (first half of term only)

Fridays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

Design and create with a variety of resources.  Develop the foundations of S.T.E.M. skills through play.   

(Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.)

 

Easter Craft Club with Mrs Clarke (Y1 - Y6) (second half of term only)

Fridays 3.30pm - 4.15pm

Join Mrs Clarke in excited anticipation of the approaching Easter celebrations.   

(A separate sign-up form will be set towards the end of the first half of Spring Term.)

 

 

 

Clubs will run from the week commencing 12/01/26 through to (and including) the week commencing 16/03/26 - There are NO after-school clubs in the first or last weeks of term.

 

There will be NO after-school clubs during the week commencing 16/02/26 due to half term. 

 

Any changes to after-school club scheduling will be communicated on a case by case basis closer to the time.
