150th Anniversary Celebrations 3rd & 4th November 2023 Latest

ASHURST CE AIDED PRIMARY SCHOOL.
Celebrating our Sesquicentennial 150th Anniversary 3rd & 4th NOVEMBER 2023.

Friday 3rd November, 2023
Today the school has been transported back 150 years with our 'Victorian Day'.  There has been 'Victorian' style teaching throughout the day, with all pupils and staff in costume.  MP Andrew Griffith kindly joined us to help us celebrate by planting a wonderful tree in our new woodland playground area named 'King's Grove' by the pupils.
Later today Bishop Ruth and Father Mark will be joining us to officially open 'King's Grove; woodland garden.

During the evening, the Friends of Ashurst Primary School are hosting a 'Celebration Evening', from 6 until 9pm in Ashurst Village Hall.  There will be entertainment, bar, 'Crepcetera' food van and fireworks.  Everyone welcome - no charge for tickets.

SATURDAY, 4th NOVEMBER 2023
We are celebrating with our '150th ANNIVERSAY OPEN DAY' from 11 until 3pm.
There will be displays of memorabilia, film & photographs from over the years.  Tea/coffee and cake will be available throughout the day.  EVERYONE WILL BE VERY WELCOME - DO COME AND JOIN US TO CELEBRATE AND MEET UP WITH FRIENDS.
